Dr. Weimao Ke received support from IMLS as co-PI (2017)

for LIS Education and Data Science-4-the National Digital Platform (2017 - 2019), and is getting ready to teach data science to a group of doctoral students in June 2018. 

Weimao Ke receives Outstanding Online Faculty Award at Drexel University

Dr. Weimao Ke has been selected as the recipient of the 2013 Outstanding Online Faculty Award for National Distance Learning Week.
This award recognizes one member from each college/school at Drexel University, as selected by the dean, who has demonstrated a commitment and contribution to the field of online learning. An awards reception is being held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.at the Philadelphia History Museum.

Provides an overview of data analytics foundations and techniques for information professionals. Introduces fundamental concepts and theories of data and data science. Discusses methods and techniques of data representation, data analysis, and data visualization. Covers a range of tools and systems that can be used to discover insight and derive values from data.
